Artist of the Week : Translippers (RU)
Translippers is the moniker for Arthur Mustafin, a producer and composer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Began in 1984 as a songwriter, bass player, and singer in rock and jazz bands, Arthur changed his musical vision in 2011 with the first trip to India, where he seriously got into electronic sound, dub vibes, ethnical instruments. This led to Arthur incorporating these influences into his own production, which significantly transformed his sound and career as a musician. His atmospheric music is a fusion of Dub, Trip-Hop, Latin Rhythms with samples of ethnical voices and instruments.
Finding inspiration through traveling in Eastern and European countries, mountains and Asian tropical jungles, Arthur creates in his electronica an entrancing blend of cultures. Psychedelic mix of Oriental melodies, African and Latin rhythms, Reggae vibrations provokes for dancing and awakens the sense of sacred love and harmony of the nonmaterial world.

Known for its major hits within the electronic scene, DJ Maretimo's own Record Label "Maretimo Records" (Manifold Records / Manifold Music GmbH) is not only the perfect place for himself but also for DJ's around the world. Founded in 1989, the label can look back on a very successful time.
For example the album "Island Of Chill" is over 13 years almost seamlessly in the iTunes Top 100 of all electronic releases and one of the most successful releases of all time.
The lounge, chillout and house tracks of DJ Maretimo´s label "Maretimo Records" can be found on hundreds of compilations - the best known example is definitely the series "Cafe del Mar" of the famous Ibiza Chillout Cafe.

Artist of the Week : Corrado Saija (IT)
Corrado Saija is a composer, musician and sound artist from Italy. He started learning the piano, percussion and the rudiments of computer music all by himself and then started following courses at conservatory of music in Milan.
He works in music since 1999 when he was 17 years old. He is a poly-instrumentist and an electronic music composer as well as sound designer. His musical life is in between experimental music, free jazz, electro-acoustic improvisation and an amazing world of easy listening, lounge and exotica music.
Corrado composes music in order to realize multimedia installations for contemporary theater, live comment for black/white old movies, art performances in galleries and audiovisual work like film and documentary.  He was selected as a semi-finalist at the „Italian National Prize of Arts 2010“ in the category „Electronic Music“.

Artist of the Week : Miklos Vajda (HU)
Hungarian composer, sound designer and Label owner (Betyar Records) Miklos Vajda aka Semmelkren, Colors of Kitchen, Butter Solkim. He first got familiar with electronic music at the age of 10. In 1991 he heard a band called LDC and their song “Die Schwarze Zone”(The Black Zone) song inspired him to engage in the creation of his own music. He started on a computer, then he acquired his first synthesizer, a Roland JV-50, and his first sequencer, a Roland MC 500. With four friends they established a formation called Pyrexia. Together they did some live acts, but after a few successful performances and radio appearances they decided to break up. It was after this that Miklos Vajda started to persuade his solo career. Between 1996 and 2006 he presented a number of successful live acts. The unique sound of his first solo album published in 2010 "A Paper Box full of my Dreams" makes it very successful and popular. Miklos Vajda music bring you to an amazing and particular world!
